Who are we?

Stichting SUFUDE Sustainable future & development is a nonprofit organization based in the Netherlands, committed to develop and carry projects in the fields of education and culture focus on sustainability and development to create and reinforce more sustainable societies, practices and over all a more sustainable development on our planet.

We believe that education and culture are the strongest pillars to work with towards a more sustainable planet, by educating the new generations and current members of the society regarding sustainable practices, effects, and sustainable development for our planet we can create a positive, strong and lasting impact on the planet’s sustainability.

We also believe in the power of cultural exchange to be a bridge to strengthen connection between nations, fostering respect, learning and mutual growth with the goal of creating better living conditions globally.

To create bridges of transformation through education and culture, to create more conscious societies regarding the importance of sustainable practices regarding sustainability and development.

Mission

To develop and support educational and cultural projects focus on teaching and creating consciousness about sustainability.

What do we do?

At SUFUDE, we develop, support, and implement educational and cultural projects that promote sustainability on every level. We teach and train individuals and communities to create sustainable economic systems, develop social sustainability and foster environmental sustainability through our projects and courses on environmental sustainability.

Where do we operate?

Our work focuses but doesn’t limit to developing countries where educational opportunities regarding sustainability are limited. Currently we are working in:

Statutory Objectives:

The objectives of the Foundation are:

1.- To develop worldwide projects in the fields of culture and education and to perform all such further acts and activities as are in the widest sense connected therewith, invidental thereto and/or which may be conductive thereto.

2.- The objectives of the foundation include: accepting (or renouncing or not accepting) acquisitions under inheritance law or gift, even if a condition or obligation is attached thereto.

3.- The objective of the Foundation is not to gain profits.

Samenvatting Beleidsplan – Stichting SUFUDE:

Stichting SUFUDE zet zich in voor duurzaamheid in al haar vormen – milieu, sociaal, cultureel en economisch – met nadruk op educatie en cultuur als fundamenten voor verandering. In 2025 richt SUFUDE zich op de oprichting van het “Kochalito Verde Community Home” in Den Haag, een centrum voor sociale, economische en ecologische duurzaamheid. De stichting organiseert participatieve workshops, onderwijsprogramma’s en milieuprojecten zoals rivierreiniging en gemeenschapsontwikkeling. Bestuursleden ontvangen geen salaris, alleen vergoeding van gemaakte kosten. Alle middelen worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor activiteiten van algemeen belang.

Remuneration Policy: Board member roles are unpaid; expenses are reimbursed.
